"Good thoughts" @ Water Tower Art Fest

I am happy to be part of Water Tower Art Fest again. This year is its 10 anniversary.
"Water Tower Art Fest is an artist run intiative since 2006 encompasing ideas of unbaised communication through arts on basis. They started as a grass root initiative with only a handfull of people motivated enough to want change in the society. Now the festival is the biggest international platform for exchange in Bulgaria using abandoned buildings not only in Sofia but other cities in Bulgaria.
They believe that arts have social function and can lead to change in society and better quality urban life. The power of arts is unquestionable and they would like to use it."
I will participate with my work called "Good thoughts". It is interactive photo print on textile. It will be set at the place called Fabrika 126.

Interactive print on textile titled "Good Thoughts" is build on previous work, complex, long-term performance with whom I want to ask the question of how we think about our actions, are we aware of our actions and their consequences in everyday life. The performance was documented and presented as exhibition of documentary material during which visitors could take part in the performance being photographed with the mask that author used performing.
The main and only motive on this image called "Good Thoughts", located in the central part of the white canvas, is my figure but without face, ie. with mask. By using documentary material of the performance to create this work, "Good Thoughts" became it’s visual and conceptual extension. Picture “Good thoughts” points to another aspect of everyday life asking question what kind of  good thoughts dwell in our beings. From visitors is expected to participate in the further creation of the artwork by writing their good thoughts on canvas with pencil that is attached.

Here is the this years programe.
